    Welcome to Give My Books Network, operated by Book Sourcing Mastery, LLC. By accessing or using our website, https://www.givemybooksnetwork.com ("Site"), and our book and media pickup services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.

    Definitions

    • "Network" refers to Give My Books Network and its services.
    • "Clients" refers to individuals who schedule book and media pickups through the Network.
    • "Pick-Up Partners" or "Partners" refers to individuals or entities who fulfill pickup requests on behalf of the Network.
    • "Requesters" refers to individuals or organizations who request books through the Give Me Books program.

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By using our Site or scheduling a pickup, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

    2. Description of Services

    Give My Books Network provides a free book and media pickup service. Clients can schedule pickups for donated items such as books, CDs, DVDs, and other media. Our network of Pick-Up Partners collects these items and redistributes them to schools, libraries, and communities in need.

    3. Client Responsibilities

    When using our Site and services, Clients agree to:

    • Provide accurate and complete information when scheduling pickups.
    • Ensure items are ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
    • Not include prohibited items (e.g., hazardous materials, illegal content).
    • Use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

    4. Pick-Up Partner Responsibilities

    If you are a Pick-Up Partner, you agree to:

    • Fulfill assigned pickups in a timely and professional manner.
    • Handle donated items responsibly and ethically.
    • Maintain accurate records of pickups and distributions.
    • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Use Client contact information (phone, email, address) solely for coordinating and completing assigned pickups.
    • Not contact Clients for marketing, solicitation, or any purpose unrelated to the assigned pickup.
    • Not store, copy, or export Client contact information for use outside the Network platform.

    Violation of these data usage restrictions may result in immediate termination of your Partner account and may subject you to legal action. For full Partner obligations, see the Partner Agreement.

    5. Intellectual Property

    All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Book Sourcing Mastery, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

    6. Client Content

    If you submit any content to our Site (e.g., reviews, feedback, photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for any purpose related to our services.

    7. Prohibited Conduct

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's functionality or security.
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems.
    • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
    • Harass, threaten, or harm other Clients, Partners, or our staff.

    8. Disclaimer of Warranties

    Our Site and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for the condition, quality, or suitability of donated items.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Book Sourcing Mastery, LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for the use of our services.

    10. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Book Sourcing Mastery, LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

    11. Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.

    12. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

    15. SMS Text Messaging Terms

    Program Name: Give My Books Network SMS Alerts

    By opting in to SMS messages from the Network, you agree to receive text messages related to the services described below. These terms supplement the general Terms of Use above and our Privacy Policy.

    15.1 Types of Messages

    The Network may send the following types of SMS messages:

    • For Clients: Booking confirmations, 3-day and 1-day pickup reminders, "on the way" notifications, pickup completion confirmations, review/feedback request reminders, and service updates.
    • For Partners: New pickup assignment notifications, nearby pickup opportunity alerts, schedule change notifications, and service updates.

    15.2 Message Frequency

    Message frequency varies based on pickup activity. Clients may receive up to 10 messages per scheduled pickup. Partners may receive additional notifications for nearby pickup opportunities and schedule changes.

    15.3 Message and Data Rates

    Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

    15.4 Opt-Out

    To stop receiving text messages, text STOP to any message from the Network. You will receive a one-time confirmation message. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages but may still receive service communications via email.

    15.6 Carrier Disclaimer

    Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier.

    15.7 Consent

    Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from the Network. You may use all Network services without opting in to SMS messaging.
