    Gather Your Books & Media

    Pack your books, CDs, DVDs, and media in boxes or bags. We welcome gently used to well-loved items. Please recycle anything moldy or damaged beyond use.

    Pickup Day Guidelines

    A few simple things to ensure a smooth pickup experience

    Fill Containers Completely

    Please fill each box or bag completely rather than giving us multiple partially full containers - this helps us conserve space in our vehicle.

    50lb Max Per Container

    Ensure all boxes or bags are light enough for one person to carry alone. 50lb MAX. We are strong, but we need our backs! 😊

    Use Boxes or Bags

    All items should be in a box, bag, or container that we can pick up and take with us. Please do not leave loose books - we will not take them if not in a container. We do not bring replacement boxes.

    Leave Items Out by 8 AM

    Please have your boxes or bags outside and accessible by 8 AM on your scheduled pick-up day. This ensures our Partners can complete their route efficiently.

    Flexible Pick-up Window

    Our pick-up window is 8 AM to 8 PM. We cannot guarantee a specific time but will be there sometime that day.

    No Tax Deduction Slips

    Give My Books Network and its Pick-Up Partners are family businesses, not 501(c)(3) nonprofits. We cannot provide tax deduction forms. If you need one, please take your books to a registered nonprofit.

    Protect from Weather

    We come rain or shine - please check the weather and cover books or move them to a safe, dry accessible location. We will not pick up rain-soaked books.
