## Let Us Be Straight With You

### Where Do These Books Come From?

Families in your community gave their books through us. They scheduled a pickup, and a local family business (what we call a Pick-Up Partner) came to their door and collected them for free. Partners resell what they can to support their families and businesses. But they end up with more books than they can sell.

### Why Would Partners Give Books Away?

Because they want to. They care about literacy. They care about their communities. The families who gave to them trusted their books would find good homes. Giving to organizations like yours honors that trust. Plus, their warehouses fill up fast, and they need the space.

"There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving."

— A teacher from ancient times, quoted in the world's best-selling book

### The Cycle of Giving

Families give books → Partners collect them → Partners give to you → You share with your community. Everyone gives. Everyone benefits. That's the cycle.

Partners who give through this program earn Top Giver badges and premium placement in The Network. We don't force giving — we celebrate it.

## See What Partners See

Complete transparency. No secrets. Here's exactly what appears in a Partner's dashboard when your request comes through.

### Partner Dashboard: Give ME Books Tab

When you submit a request, it appears here for Partners in your area. They see your organization name, location, and what you need. Partners can express interest, and once claimed, you'll both receive each other's contact information to coordinate directly.

### How Matching Works

**1\. Your request goes out:** When you submit, Partners within your ZIP code and a 100-mile radius are notified.

**2\. A Partner claims it:** The first Partner to claim your request gets connected with you directly.

**3\. You coordinate together:** No middleman. You work out the details, whether that's delivery, pickup, or something else.

**4\. Confirm the count:** After receiving books, we'll ask you to confirm how many you received. This helps Partners earn recognition in The Network.

## Your Complete Request Journey

### The Cycle of Giving

Books came from families in the community. The Partner picked them up, provided for their business, and shared with you. Now these books will help your students, patrons, or community, continuing the cycle.

"One gives generously and ends up with more. The generous person will prosper, and whoever refreshes others will himself be refreshed."

— Ancient proverbs from the world's best-selling book
